They'd work fine.
Take car. Go to Mum's. Kill Phil - "Sorry." - grab Liz, go to the Winchester, have a nice cold pint, and wait for all of this to blow over. How's that for a slice of fried gold?

While I don't have these models yet I do have quite a few WG miniatures including the odd Cavalry model. The Horses are smaller to 25 mm scale (?) but fit in perfectly with other WG figures. If you are using WG Romans etc it should not be a problem.

Funnily enough while I do use my Warlord Games Romans for Ancients I used them for my WHFB Empire Army this week and loved it!

My mate who I regularly game with does not have an interest in Historical Gaming (yet but I am working on that). The Warlord Games Romans looked great Ranked up and he loved it :D

I will convert him yet!

Legionary soldiers as swordsmen.

Scorpion as a great cannon

Auxiliary Cavalry as Pistoliers (Javelins count as).

Now I want to add:

Auxiliary Soldiers with spears as Spearmen

Celtic Warbands as Empire Militia

Onagers as Mortars (like the intro to Gladiator where they fire the clay pots with flaming oil)

I was toying with using Sarmatian Cataphracts as knights as well.

Historically, would the Sarmatian Cataphracts have fought on the same side as the E.I.R. ?

I want to add them to my Celts regardless

Happy Gaming,

Allan
