Thankyou gentlemen : ) Boat and amphora ordered! Thats a £30 addition to the bill of a 'cheap' piece of scenery. I'm Doomed , like Grant!
@BD...yes the Celts are in his garden! I need a table like Piers! :D

Battle reports (story telling) at some point!

Although beautiful scenery like that can make it difficult to move models around a table, it adds so much to the visuals of a game it improves the whole experience incredibly.

That's quite extravagant, most people just have water features or roses, maybe the odd Gnome ;)

Boat you say......what boat is that? lets have a link!
As for the cost, I was once given a free Olliphant/mumak thingy from GW....it cost me £30 in paints...from said company.....Mmmmmm, on reflection they might have seen me coming

Utterly superb.

What a brilliant collection of terrain you have! massive fan of the Roman graffiti :)

AWESOME, Carvel, simply awesome! :D
I'm away to the hippos' next month for whole week, think I'd better take the reinforcements with me to build up reading for a painting session ... 'cos we're going to need 'em!
@BD: you mean, "I see you've build the villa in that Celt's front garden ..." ;)
@mikeland:  I'm sure a blowtorch and hammer conversion is possible ... Carvel? ;)

@clive..you will be frisked before entering the building! No flammable materials over the threshold! Cheers for your words :D
@mrtn....they are my minions...the whole celtic world
That said, I think the running tally of games is saying that its the other way round
@Paul many thanks for suggesting a hole drilled in the base board so I can hang it on the wall...I wonder if Mrs Carvel will allow it to be hung in the living room.......hmmmmmmm. ;)

Clive it's either "Possession is 9 tenths of the law" or the land belongs to the person with the most money....not sure which applies here, but...i hope those happy campers are observing the country code or they will be thrown off the camp site!
...like this.......http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WCzKOYUvD3E

Clearly the General won't mind if the celts all sit down nicely and just sing in their camp like this....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=daEocG2dKCU........but definitely no war songs, or anything by Cheryl Cole or there willbe trouble.

Carvel.....That's a nice boat....plenty of room for a Scorpio ballista ;)

Nice boat! Is it from GM?

Is that a Celtic village? Silly me, I thought it was a set of protestors, camping out to moan, I mean protest about the new bypass! ;-)

@BD Perhaps the Celts would be able to use Cheryl Cole as a secret weapon!
