Mulling over how to get the hillside feel so the ramp/bridge can be included. Any thoughts?

To cut down on cost any thoughts on thatching the high part of the roof and tiling the veranda...
I was going to buy the railway panned tile sheets.
The aim is to have a few legionary tents in the garden as the cohort defends against a roving band.
