Thanks phn- first time I have seen Petasos in both metal and cloth versions. Helpful to see them both.

Cheers

James

PS: I have to say that I love Johnny Shumate's work-his colours really bring the period to life for me.

For those confused by the groin plate piece, here is a visual reference of what I think is an actual museum piece.

If anyone from Warlord is reading this I'd like to suggest that either: a) a PDF of the original leaflet that came with the old Immortal Miniatures hoplite sets be made available; or, b) something similar that explains the more mysterious parts on the sprues, e.g. the hats.

I only realised the groin plate's nature after catching sight of it in an historical documentary. Otherwise, I was clueless.

Also, while on the subject of packaging, I felt that at 40 figs per box the number of figures in the box sets matched awkwardly with the unit sizes in Hail Caesar. Even the hoplite battles covered in the rulebooks use 24 figures per unit, which breaks down awkwardly in a box of 40. Having 48 per box would suit better.

Sadly Steve May was unable to let us have the original files despite several attempts to get hold of them.

You'll either see scans of the leaflets or them broken down into articles instead.

With the colossal task of developing and launching a new webstore largely out of the way we can turn our attention to this can of thing more again.
Cheers,

Paul Sawyer
