The Second Battle of McColls Farm

Postby scrivs » Tue Jul 10, 2012 10:55 pm

Last Tuesday Lee and I had a great game of Black Powder American Civil War, fighting the fictitious Second Battle of McColls Farm.

Here are a few snaps of the game:

There is a full order of battle, more images and a bit of a write up on the Scrivsland blog

That's just the 28mm stuff, I'm not even going to start on the other scales.

Great job on those 6mm, I thought they might have been 15s. Baccus?
Take car. Go to Mum's. Kill Phil - "Sorry." - grab Liz, go to the Winchester, have a nice cold pint, and wait for all of this to blow over. How's that for a slice of fried gold?

Nice job there Paul. How is Lee taking to BP?

Did you use "vanilla" BP, other than >50% for broken brigades?

Are you at Lenton tomo?

He got the hump when nothing moved for three turns (and he had Reliable troops with CV8 generals)

Also a bit of tweaking on the artillery stats to better represent the difference between Rifles and Smooth-bores and the size of Union batteries compared to the Confederates - see the oob.

Yes, playing BP ACW again with Cameron and Ian.
