Entoyment has just successfully completed its first year of trading in Parkstone, Poole. It is the brainchild and passion of owner Peter Valinski, who has a boundless enthusiasm for war gaming and anything associated with it.
His particular mission and interest is in historical gaming, and he seeks to promote this at every opportunity.
The store is 760 square foot in size and offers a huge range of miniatures to hobby collectors and gamers including, Warlord Games, Army Painter, Vallejo, 4ground, & Osprey Books.
Entoyment hold demo games during opening hours with tables at the front and back of the store and can accommodate around 32 gamers. Then in the evenings there are club nights after opening hours. The store can accommodate up to 32 players for tournaments, which it hosts on a regular basis. As Pete says “the hobby is as much about the education and learning about these explosive periods in history as it is about the fun of gaming. For that reason I am very keen to involve young people in this hobby, and one of our many Club Nights, which are held every week is a “Kids Club” where younger enthusiasts can come and learn a hobby that doesn’t involve sitting in front of a screen!”
