Ready to march to Wellington’s rescue at the Battle of Waterloo we have Field Marshal von Blücher and his senior Prussian officers as well as the skirmishing Prussian Jägers.
This set depicts the Prussian High Command during the 100 Days campaign leading up to the battle of Waterloo:
- Field Marshal von Blücher.
- General August von Gneisenau, Blücher’s chief of staff.
- Marshal Friedrich Karl von Zeiten.
Prussian Jägers were skirmishing light infantry formed from patriotic volunteers, bearing the cost of their weapons and uniforms at their own expense.
