Wow what a show – Well over 8,000 people packed into 1 huge arena, and the gaming extravaganza that is Salute began in earnest – with the Warlord stand swarming with customers from the outset!
As you would expect the entire Warlord crew were ready to meet and greet everyone, the sales teams introducing games to new and experienced alike.
There were so many headline products on offer – it was the very first chance to get your hands on the C3M4 Combat Drone, Project Z, one of the first chances to get your hands on ‘Glory Hallelujah,’ the first appearance of our plastic Sherman V, the first chance to get hold of the IS-3 ahead of general release, the first showing of our plastic ‘The Citadel’ castle set…
The show is a great chance for us to inter-mingle with the community, and provide a little insight into what’s to come… our cabinets played host to a veritable feast for the eyes…
To see more of the Gates of Antares miniatures on show, take a look at yesterday’s article here!
Speaking of Antares – Rick was among the masses introducing Beyond the Gates of Antares on two fantastic eye-catching boards
Alessio (assisted by the international team of Chris from our American office, Maciej from our Polish office, and Christian from our German office) was in the Desert surrounded by Crusaders and Panzers!
Dr Dave was getting writer’s cramp signing his latest masterpiece – ‘Glory Hallelujah’ – our recently released American Civil War supplement for Black Powder…
Our stand also played host to some of our friends – the guys from Clockwork Goblin Miniatures were on hand to demo Konflikt ’47 ahead of release later this year:
We also had the guys from War World Scenics on hand, demonstrating their products and applicators – along with a rather nice Bolt Action table they’d prepared for the show…
We were also joined by a few familiar faces on the stand – the Beasts of War crew popped-in for a chat, the guys from Miniature Wargaming – The Movie too, Brian from TemplarsCrusade01, the guys from Pegasus Bridge The Movie, Damon from TabletopBattle, and many more!
…as well as countless familiar faces from our beloved community – whether it be suppliers, forum members, Facebook group moderators, Newsletter article contributors, fellow manufacturers, suppliers, distributors… we had visitors from Japan, Australia, Germany, Norway, Poland, France, America, and all across Great Britain all come and say ‘Hi!’
There are far too many of you to thank individually – so please accept a huge collective ‘Thank you!’ – without you folks, shows such as these wouldn’t be nearly as fun as they are!
Obviously, a particular special thanks goes to the guys at South London Warlords for organising the show, and putting-up with us year after year…
From all at Warlord Games, Thank you – and we’ll see you next year!
