Those of you who attending Salute 2011 in London earlier this year will have seen the 3-ups of our forthcoming Anglo-Zulu Wars range. Kicking things off with the British Redcoats here’s the first preview of the range – a range produced in concert with Empress Miniatures…
Warlord Games and Empress Miniatures are very proud to announce a new hard plastic range for the 1879 Zulu War. The two companies have formed a partnership in order to pool our talents and resources on this project to create what we all believe will be a truly superb range of plastic figures designed to compliment Empress Miniatures current metal AZW range.
Some of you may have been quick enough to spot some examples of the three ups at Salute. These were the initial sculpts and since then more development has taken place to ensure that these figures will be the best around. As you can see from the accompanying photographs the range will include British Regulars, but do not fear as there will also be packs of both married and unmarried Zulus (we’ll show these off very soon!), as well as Natal Native Contingent.
Release date should be Autumn 2011 for the first boxed sets – we will keep you posted on the developments of this exciting range.
