Thanks for the link John. We will definitely try that out in the future. Right now I am looking at airstrikes to provide support for my advancing ground forces, so will probably not neeed too much details on actual aircraft combat, which may bog down the game.

And definitely my battleforce will not be a platoon of FAirOs, as some have adviced against. In any case the airstrike mechanics also has its uncertainties e.g. it may not arrive forever if one is “lucky” enough, or it might strike at one’s own forces if one is unlucky, so I think having 3 FAirOs does not guarantee victory or even an advantage.
