    Greetings.
    “Clash of eagles” page 31.
“Russian Corps/Army commanders are subject to the above rules, they can also order a Division size formation as per the rules on page 26 of the Black Powder rule book, but receive a -1 penalty to their Staff Rating for each Brigade over the second that the brigade contains.”

May it be “for each brigade over the second the group of the brigades/army contains”?
Or it has subject to the units from different brigades that gain brigade order?
By the way, in AT vol.2. corps and higher comanders only used to make rerols for failed order attempts. Does it had been changed in “Clash off Eagles”?

A russian Army Commander can command a division as per page 26. If the division as one or two brigades there is no penalty. If it has three brigades he ist at -1 Staff Rating, if four he is at -2 Staff Rating.

He con only command several brigades wit one order if they belong to the same division.

AT vol. 2 is only for AT Vol. 2. We allow one army commander and if there is more that one division or corps in the army an additional corps commander for rerolls.

    Thanks.
    Who can explain me this?
    “Clash of eagles” page 23
“On 18ih September Bennigsen and Miloradovich caught Murat by surprise at the Battle of Chernishnya” in Russia this clash is known as Tarutino battle jr Battle in Vinkovo and the date is 18 of October. Is here a mistake in the book?

    Some more questions:
    1)
^The Russian infantry withstand fire fear* lessly, but their own fire is badly directed”

    p. 102
Russian infantry does not receive the +1 bonus at close range when firing and suffer a -1 penalty when shooting at medium and long range. However, Russian infantry withstood punishment on the battlefield as no other – Russian infantry receive a stamina bonus to their basic stats line.

on page 35 written that grenadire and musketeers recevi such a penalty

Is this penalty only applyed to russian nonjager infantry or to russian infantry att all?
    What page does prefer?

    2)
    BAVARIAN INFANTRY
    p.64
Bavarian light infantry is described as having one company partly armed with rifles.
And later below in profiles line infantry has a “rifle mixed formation” special rule, and light infantry don`t
    p. 171
bavarian light and line infantry have the “rifle mixed formation” special rule and cost 37/40 points for battalion respectively
    p. 173
bavarian line batalion cost is shown – 36 points (it means no “rifle mixed formation” special rule)!!!
and light infantry battalion stil costs 40 points

3 different places differ from each other!
    What is correct?

I`ve already seen errata about bavarian cavalry. Thanks for it.

    3)
    AUSTRIAN GENERALS
    p. 67
    Commanders
Political interference and a general lack of tactical initiative dogged the Austrian chain of command. These drawbacks are represented by different scores for the ‘Personal Qualities of Commanders’ chart page 94 of the Black Powder rulebook.
    In the chart below:
    1-2: low
    4-5: normal
    6: high

And what is the result on 3?

Why do there are so much mistakes and discrepancies inside the text?

Wondering how to apply the Large attribute to Russian artillery.
The COE template shows Russian artillery as using 4-2-2 dice when firing. Does this include the Large benefit dice, or should the Large benefit add dice to these numbers: 5-3-3?

John, no. Russian battery is using 4-2-2 firing dice when shooting and it`s already large as it stated in profile. As with 4-2-2, it has 2 dice for close cpmbat and 3 stamina!
So russian battery has chance to break enemy battalion in front atack by closing fire and even have some chance to survive close combat.

I still wonder about the 2 dice at medium range. Why not 3, one more than a normal battery?

Or perhaps Russian heavy artillery should be 4-3-1, since there were just four long-barreled twelve pounders in a twelve gun battery, the other eight (four licornes and four short-barreled twelve pounders) being effective at medium range.

Right now, with the 4-2-2 and the rule disallowing Russian artillery to move closer than 12″ to infantry, they really are not that much more effective than a normal sized battery at 3-2-1.
