    Can a unit perform at higher than their original morale by means of the influence of an officer? For example, a regular tank (original morale of ‘9’) being raised to a ’10’. On the one hand, It’s argued that your morale is your limit. The other is that an officer can inspire troops to a better performance. Kind of his purpose, in my view.

    Yes they can.

    Some games have a clause limiting morale to the original value, Bolt Action isn’t one of those games.

    The officer morale bonus is stated as just that, a bonus. It’s not limited to being strictly an offset for negatives. The only thing that restricts it’s application is the 10 cap after all modifiers.
