I have just started building some Cretan wargaming boards for the German invasion of Crete and have finished my first Warlord Germans. I know Warlord only has mid-late Fallschirmjager but as long as they have the correct weapons they represent quite nicely the emergence of new uniforms coming through to the troops on the ground. There are plenty of pictures of Germans in the first couple of days of the invasion wearing a mix of old and new kit.

I am aiming to paint up a mix force of various manufacturers, including gliders and planes. Lots more coming soon and on my blog.

    Couple of updates on terrain.

The radio mast is from Sarissa and has been heavily converted. Its meant to be the mast at Gournes on Crete which was a Fallschirmjager objective when they invaded. The house with the Bougainvillea is Charlie Foxtrot and has also been converted.
