Hey guys
Had my first games today and an interesting issue came up.
My opponent had 2 small units of Spartan Hoplites versus my Roman Legionaries.
He engaged me with 1 unit and we both rolled our dice, parried and removed casualties.
He then enganged with the second unit and, as I read the rules, I also get to fight and parry all their attacks too?Seems a bit harsh that I can attack and parry every enemy unit attacking me with all my men but it appears to read that way.
Is this correct?
It seems to me that this makes it much better to just take larger single units?August 19, 2019 at 7:43 am #167110GordonParticipantI think that you are right on all counts.
I suspect a beardy approach to war band building will pay dividends as people get used to the rules… -
