Pinned and evading

I cannot see anywhere that says pinned affect the ability to attempt an evade (dodge) although I might have thought it made it impossible (as with the brawler skill) or at least modified it.

On p19 it mentions specifically that you can still dodge while pinned (something like “even if a hit is dodged it will still pin if enough hits are rolled”), so that may be where the confusion comes from.
