In the Armies of the Soviet Union book, the M42 Anti-tank gun gets a +1 to its penetration at short range.  Is that Point Blank?  Or whatever isn’t long range?

Whatever isn’t ‘Long Range’.  Bolt Action has a perpetual problem with supplement authors using their own paraphrasing and not having a continuity editor to check before publication.

Thanks for the clarification.  The narrative mentions point blank, but I’ve learned to ignore the narratives as the actual rules and characteristics don’t follow them.
