“FIRST TURN
The battle begins. During turn 1, the attacker must move his entire first wave onto the table. These units can enter the table from any point on the attacker’s table edge, and must be given either a Run or Advance order…”
1) Says nothing about the defender. Does the defender draw his dices on the first turn as usual?
2) Attacker entering with “advance” can already shoot at units within range?

Yes. That is the default for a turn and there is nothing to suggest a difference in this case.

Yes. Again, shooting at the end of an Advance order is the default and there is nothing to suggest a limitation for this case (unlike assaulting, for example, which is specifically prevented when moving onto the table).
