Hey guys, to anybody in the United States – how do you find tournaments? Is there a sort of event that’s been going on in one place for so long that you know where and when to go, or a one time thing that you have to catch? Specifically in the North-West.

Thanks for helping a new player. -Aidan

facebook – a lot of US regions have their own FB group –  & word of mouth / hosted by LGS or gaming groups.

So all I can say is if you get your stuff from a game store ask in there.

    Thanks Nat!

I don’t have Facebook, and there’s no game stores here (Alaska) that I know of. I’ll be down in the North-West this fall, so I think I’ll just try and find a game store there.

Nope. No social media other than browsing this forum. Except every once in a while I search Reddit to see how people paint their models or build their lists, but other than that I try to stay away from the toxic tornado.

Howdy Aidan!  The serious Bolt Action players here go to the Las Vegas Open every year.  There’re also tournaments in Salt Lake City, at a store called Gajo Games….

Might be worth checking out (and even contacting) the chaps that run the SNAFU podcast. They focus on BA tournaments in your corner of the world. They also run their own. Very informative about the game in general too.

For the 2nd time this year, a contingent of Bolt Action players from our store (White Knight Games & Hobbies in Helena, Montana) went to a Bolt Action tournament at Gajo Games in Salt Lake City and did well, taking 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th and 14th places.  IIRC, the last article I saw on Warlord Games website, covering a Gajo Games tournament was from 2021….
