These miniatures are perfect for representing the forces of the French Maquis, Russian Partisan Brigades, members of the Polish Resistance, German Volksturm and other freedom fighters. If your scenario requires townsfolk taking up arms, then these are ideal.
These models are perfect for portraying units such as the Yugoslav Partisans who took up arms to resist the Axis and their collaborators under Marshal Josip Broz Tito during World War 2. The Partisans were a firmly Communist force who fought equally to expel Hitler’s forces from Yugoslavia as well as establish a Communist state within their country.
Themed for the East
If you’re a fan of the excellent film Defiance (starring Daniel Craig and Liev Schreiber Portraying the struggle of a group of Russian resistance fighters in Nazi-occupied Eastern Europe in the Belarussian forests, endeavoring to build a village in order to protect themselves and about 1,000 Jewish non-combatants) you’re in luck! Our Partisans will serve quite well if you want to fight any of the battles from the film on the tabletop.
Themed for the West
A few of our Partisans have a distinctly German look – these could be used as Polish resistance, German Volksturm or even as German Wehrwolf squads!
