What is the mechanism for finding a sub for which a model has not yet been placed?

Presumably ships with sub hunter can blind roll if they’re in a sector against running deep, but what about planes with ASW? Can they even see things running deep?

Torpedoes take planning and tricksiness to use. You have to get up close, and take the risks inherent in getting that close.

Destroyers and Cruisers are using their speed and a few judiciously utilized Evade orders to get in close and be ready to pounce (as first activation on a non-Evade) if you happen to win initiative.

As it reads on AoIatA pg 64, it prevents forward deployment by any unit using sniper/spotter/observer, so it would prevent forward deployment by things like Night Infiltrators, Suicide AT Teams, Native Irregulars etc that use the spotter deployment mechanism as well, right?

The Bulgarians wanted a slice of Yugoslavia too, and a Balkan campaign would be a nice opportunity to get them expanded selectors/ options the way the Hungarians did in Fortress Budapest.

The follows above are correct if you’re talking about ambushing. The tank would not be allowed to pivot its hull/chassis to bring its hull- or casemount-mounted weapon to bear on an ambush, but a turret would be able to turn.

Remember also that you can’t indirect fire on ambush. So, as LordRao said, make sure to announce what type of ammo is loaded (AT vs HE) for your ambush as it’ll be for direct fire use only.

The Axis Support unit is not limited to tanks, correct? So if the Axis Support slot on easyarmy only shows a certain selection of German tanks, if I wanted to take an armored car or sp artillery, that’s legal?
