the doubt came to me for these two examples shown in the FAQ

When building a force from the Western Desert book, British
and Commonwealth armies get the basic traits from the AoGB
book (i.e. the free artillery observer in lists that allow them, and
the barrage reroll) and then the National Characteristics from the
    Western Desert.
Example 1: A South African force would have the free
observer, the barrage reroll, and then both traits listed: Bloody Mindedness, and Quick Reaction.
Example 2: An Indian force would have the free observer,
the barrage reroll, and then both Unsurpassed Bravery and Manpower of the Empire

    Thanks Nat

But, there there is no difference between the two and also in easyarmy the naval of the soft underbelly book is valued 150 points. All this makes me think of an error in the valorization within the book soft underbelly

I think option B is the most correct, because the chart says:
“…. and then immediately resolve an artillery barrage as described for result 4−6 below.”
For me this means that barrage MUST still be resolved!

    I waiting for other reply… 😊😊😊

    But… 🙂
…how then do we consider the rule of preliminary bombardment that applies only to the units positioned in the setup area?

“…to see how effective the bombardment is, roll a die for each unit in the enemy set-up zone at the start of the game….”

The united outside would be immune?

    Thanks

    Hi
I asked the same question, through the Warlord Customer Care Service, directly to one of the authors of the book.
The flamethrower rolls only 1 die. If the shot enter then roll a D6 (or D6+1 for the vehicles) to check how many hits he scored.

    Hi all
The “Reverse Moves” described on page 103 of the basic rulebook, can it be followed by fire?
What makes me think of “NO” is that in the rulebook the Fire is only provided for Advance and Fire orders.

    Thanks

    Hi all

In the MULTIPLE LAUNCHER paragraph pg.72, could the target unit be an empty building and therefore all units that are 6″ apart from it?
Doubt arises because the mortars can target empty buildings ….

    Thanks

Many Thanks Alan and Stuart for the explanations that are relevant to a real simulation.

    Hi All

Two questions that arise from divergent positions within our Association.
I think I already have the answers but I would like to have confirmation.
    A) Mortar shoot at 2, the target is Zeroed; Crew go DOWN: to the next shoot, because neither the mortar nor the target moved, I continue to shoot at 2? (I say YES).
    B) Can a mortar shoot, considering the specific rules for FIXEDs in the building, from a building? (I do not see limitations to this From rulebook)

    Many Thanks

    Hi all
the rule on page 123, “Shooting from buildings”

….. A unit in a building can divide its fire against different targets on different sides of a building, but all fire from each side of a building must be aimed at the same target….

is valid for any type of unit or only for those that have, within them, es. a light mortar /one shot team that can split the fire towards different units?
I ask this because this particular rule, for units inside buildings, would be in contrast with the rule on p. 49, “Declare Target”

….When a unit shoots, it fires all of its weapons at one target….

    Thanks

    Antonio
