Rick on the facebook page said the graphic in the book is incorrect.

As long as you can draw a line from a base to another base you can shoot.

There are unit leaders. There were not rules for banners or musicians, at least on my pass through the rulebook there were none of those things though nothing stops you from including those models.

The game seems to default at 1000 points, which is about 30-50 models or so. You can go up to 2000 points but after that they say that it gets unwieldy.

The facebook account stated that Rick is working on demons, ratkin and lizardmen lists.

No army creation rules. The lists are fairly generic. Some of them take from old whfb and rename them. Others mix in historicals, like the olympian army which are greeks and amazons and other units of historical myth.

There is no background or fluff what so ever other than side stories.
