VinUnleaded replied to the topic New Supplement on the Waterloo Campaign. Really? Why? in the forum Black Powder 2 years ago
My issue is that I see no difference between Black Powder Epic Battles Waterloo and non Epic.
Although, larger formations with more figurines, albeit with less animated poses all the posed exactly the same way; other than that, it looks like an even more cramped battlefield than the non epic version.

Hi everyone,
Long time Napoleonic’s miniature gamer here.
I have played the original Black Powder along with many, many, other Napoleonic miniature rule sets over the years, and purchased most of the Epic Black Powder Gettysburg products when it first came out, and now have purchased, built and painted all the buildings in the Epic Waterloo…[Read more]

“Summer Storm” is a more accurate scenario book than both of Black Powders for Gettysburg, etc.

I was just looking at the Warlord Games/Geek Villain Gettysburg battle mat for Warlord Games 15mm Epic ACW line as well as Cigar Box Battles (CCBs) Gettysburg first days battle mat.
They are all the wrong size and scale for the Warlord Games Epic ACW miniatures.
Even the buildings in Warlords Gettysburg Scenery pack are all too large for either…[Read more]

I actually received it and its seems ok, just not sure how Warlord Games and “Geek” are associating the mat with the new Epic ACW line, other than its Gettysburg.
75% of the mat covers the area south of town and west of Emmitsburg Rd, leaving only 25% of the mat usable for only the NW quadrant of the first days battle aka the scenario included in…[Read more]

So, I ordered the new Gettysburg Epic Battles ACW battle mat for the second time now.
The first time Warlord never shipped it after taking my money and after 6 weeks I cancelled the order.
It was in stock.
Then it went out out of stock, but became available again last week, so I ordered it as soon as I received the in stock email…[Read more]

Already sending photos to Warlord per their request.
Even without seeing the photos they are blaming the shipper.
If indeed the shipper rough handled the box, which there is no evidence of, its perfect and has not been opened re-sealed, the fact the one small “brigade box” which had no shrink wrap , while the other one did, would not have…[Read more]

George,
Since this was likely Warlords fault and not the shipping company, it won’t make any difference.
I do not believe customs did it, as the box does not seemed to be resealed.

Hi,
I am in the USA, and the package went thru customs at Los Angeles California (Californication).
However, the outbox was flawless, something I would not expect if the same people trashed the inside.
Its possible though.
Regardless of the reason, I am no longer going to order directly from them.
Instead I will wait for my online game shop…[Read more]

Mine was a mess.
NOTE the outer shipping box was 100% sealed, with NO damage at all.
Here is the list of issues the packer “Ana” (2 of her packing cards were enclosed) caused:
1) The main box was not shrink wrapped and had already been opened.
2) One of the two brigade boxes had no shrink wrap, was partially crushed and ripped along its edge, wit…[Read more] -

What a mess, how can the person at Warlord games even place their 2 cards with their names in the box as the person who packed and picked my order with this kind of disgrace and lack of caring?!?!?

VinUnleaded replied to the topic Epic ACW Questions in the forum Black Powder 3 years, 9 months ago
wow, I can’t believe Warlord is pushing this mat via email even though its inaccurate.
I do have the Gettysburg cigar box mat, but that was designed specifically for a different ruleset.

I am very excited about this new range and just finished painting the free frames you get from January Wargames Illustrated Magazine.
Was wondering about the Gettysburg Battle Mat Warlord Games is selling for this range, as the photo on Warlords website shows a different area than that on the manufacturer’s website (Geek Villian).
Something does…[Read more]
