Large calibre FTW. The small amend mentioned above works well for howitzers and artillery barrages in particular. That said, I am still not entirely sure what to do with a barrage hit on a building.

Even the rules seem to discourage their use, i.e., impassable terrain. They seem very GW and V3 seems to have gone even further to encourage ruins in place of buildings given the HE rules. Given the buildings in the store, this seems hard to understand.
Do people use them?

45 years of club wargaming across pretty much all genres. A few years of game mechanics design (computer aided wargaming).
