Quick question. Why is there a note that Carronades are only -1 when aiming high? I cannot find that in the rules or the chart in the rulebook.

I am a long time scale modeler and military historian so I really get into the details of the armies and equipment. My focus is on the Polish armies throughout the war though as I am trying to encourage Bolt Action in my area, I am starting to grow a German army so I can hold demo events.
Hoping to get my wife into the terrain building side of the hobby with MDF buildings but we will see.
My YouTube channel will start to have Bolt Action Batreps this year but two of my main focuses are model building/painting and military strategy. I am also trying my hand at writing historical articles about WW2 topics.

The Mk I hull mounted gun covered the left arc, not the rear
The Mk III was sometimes upgraded by replacing the coaxial Bren with a coaxial Vickers MMG.
The Mk IIIa was actually a turret-less version with twin AA mount Vickers K MG’s
There was also some upgunned Mk III’s that are represented by the existing unit entry with two MMG’s in the turret.November 16, 2018 at 9:15 pm #150320Darrin ZielinskiParticipantI need to Augment my 10th Mounted Rifles Regiment of the Polish 1st Armoured Division so I plan on getting an A10 Achillies as well as a machine gun carrier to finish out my 10th Dragoons of the dame division.

Note the Carden Loyd is not the same as the Loyd carrier. Check out these sites:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loyd_Carrier
http://www.mapleleafup.net/vehicles/carriers/loyd.htmlThis carrier was larger than the UC with a longer wheelbase and no armament and used primarily as the tow for the 6-pdr.
The Carden Loyd was an early war tankette that was phase out early but served as the basis form which the UC was developed.

The Marmon-Herrington Armoured car of any mark is missing from their product line. In the Army Book, the armament for the Mk1/Mk2’s is completely omitted. Since each Mk has a different look, at least the last three need to be offered. Then, the book should be updated to include the missing armament configurations as follows:
Mk I – A single Bren MG in the turret with a hull mounted Bren in the Hull covering the rear arc.
Mk II (Early) – same as Mk I
Mk II (late) – Boys AT Rifle with coaxial Bren MG, Pintle mount for Vickers MMG or, very rarely, a Bren MMG
Mk III – as the late Mk II (this is the most numerous variant produced)
Mk IIIA – 2 Vickers K MMGs in the turret (the default unit armament)
Mk IV – 2-pdr, (correctly listed in the unit entry as an upgrade)November 5, 2018 at 4:34 pm #149656Darrin ZielinskiParticipantI second this suggestion. The Loyd Carrier was used for the 6 pdr extensively.
