invisible officer replied to the topic No answer from Customer Care in the forum General Discussion 3 years, 2 months ago
Have you tried the UPS tracking option? You should have got the code with sending confirmation. Warlord have just the same you have there, so no answer may be because they could just answer: No idea.

…. ok guns…..after multiple discussions (including with people who are listed as the naval boffins & the author himself) on social media platforms…. how I wish this info had been inclued in the book!
They only list the Calibre, not all guns of the same calibre and the same type /make even within nations & classes…. so not all 8″ guns are…[Read more]

invisible officer replied to the topic Torpedo Rules in the forum Victory At Sea 3 years, 2 months ago
Strategical the Tarento attack was just one part of M.B. 8. Five convois under protection of all Med RN fleet. The Italians did not gain a picture of all that and so the battlesips stayed in harbor. The Italian air force was scattered and many recce planes got shot down.
Illustrious first role was to support the fleet in Eastern Med. . The ra…[Read more]

Guess 1: you probably got sent an email from them which you need to click to confirm (email might be in your junk box)
Guess 2; the website doesn’t like your browser and/or device. Try another one perhaps.

Garry Wills replied to the topic Units in square and Morale Saves in the forum Black Powder 3 years, 2 months ago
Yes exactly, the editing of BPII leaves a lot to be desired at times. It is not entirely inconsistent as the Morale Saves and Break tests work in tandem to represent morale. But with regard to your original question there has never been any discussion of having an additional morale save factor for squares. The break test rule for squares is a big…[Read more]

Base rims…either do a colour band for squads or do something on the bases themselves
British army doesn’t really do squad markings ….or even company / battalion for infantry (tanks do though)

It is not an error, just in the wrong place. The advantage for squares comes in the Break test, in which they treat all Retire results as Hold your ground. see page 89.
As far as I know there is not FAQ for BPII.

invisible officer replied to the topic Raubtier Class Torpedoboot in the forum Cruel Seas 3 years, 2 months ago
I based my model on Jaguar 1944. In 39 the five Raubtiere formed the 6. Flottille. They laid mines in North Sea and checked merchant traffic to neutral countries. In December Jaguar and Seeadler took 6 prizes. In 1940 Jaguar took part in more mining missions or was part of escort for larger warships or minelayers. In time of Weserübung Norway op…[Read more]

Between 1924 and 1929 the democratic Weimarer Republik built two very similar classes of Torpedoboote. The Type 1923 ~ Raubvogel class and the type 1924 ~ Raubtier class.
The first all named to birds: Möwe / Seeadler / Greif / Albatros / Kondor / Falke, the other to carnivores: Wolf / Iltis / Luchs / Tiger / Jaguar / Leopard
Design was in…[Read more]

invisible officer started the topic Playing the Kriegsmarine historical in Cruel Seas in the forum Cruel Seas 3 years, 2 months ago
I was asked about the role of the vessels up to Zerstörer size and decided to write some notes on historical KM tactics. The Kriegsmarine tactics got dictated by the strategical situation. From the start it lacked the numbers to fight the RN on an equal footing. The Commonwealth fleets had more cruisers than the Kriegsmarine destroyers.

Nat replied to the topic Mortar Team Zeroing in the forum Bolt Action 3 years, 2 months ago
Wouldnt you have to test for the mortar shell exploding on an empty floor? If so then its just the foot print of the building they need to move 2″ away from
IIRC indirect might explode on the roof or any floor

I have both of these too, and I didn’t think it was too noticeable, except for:
(1) the SS that were raised up on 1 leg – that really added to their height.
(2) The SS jackets are bulkier, even compared to some other German infantry types. You can see, for example, if you try to mix and match some of the SS arms with regular German bodies – t…[Read more]
