(A) Halftrack containing 1 small squad
(B) Halftrack containing 2 leaders and an AT-Rifle Team
Both are destroyed.
Passengers in (A) take dd6 hits…1d6 in total.
Passengers in (B) take dd6 hits each….3d6 in total.
Seems odd to me.

As it happens, my units are on 15mm per figure frontage and 36 figures. I often play against armies on 20mm per figure frontage (24 figures) and the difference in frontage is negligible.
if you are using Perry Miniatures plastic sets, the bases included are 15mm per figure.

Hm. But that is really talking about adjoining buildings. Not running across a street into a new one. Right?

Wayne, it is just a general thing. It is unlikely that anyone would have a frontage that falls in between because there is no figure count in the game. So, just make your units up accordingly. If you do have units that fall in between, just make a decision as to which size the unit will be and that will be ok. The difference will only be a few…[Read more]

Yes. It is mandatory. Also, even if the unit is not used for support ( there is more than one eligible to support – eg: two units at the rear) both would have to take the break test if the fighting unit is destroyed.

This question arose yesterday.
Can an infantry unit leave a building and enter a different building (say across the street) in a single Run order?
Cheers

MTBs /small boats will have been used to slip under radar to mine channels used by subs and also to clear an area before you sail your own subs / capital ships out of harbour.
Could you do dieppe… possibly… but I wouldnt due to the numbers involved… but the Commando raids (such as the recover of the paras who took apart the german radar…[Read more]

MTB and Schnellboote had DC / Wasserbomben. They used them mainly to attack surface vessels, running close along . throwing them and going away full Speed. The blast broke the Targets back.
They also used them in fleeing before destroyers and similar. Not nice to run over a DC….. .
Submarine hunting was rarely done. The boats had limited…[Read more]

1) That is correct. It is nasty charging into guns, so avoid it wherever possible. Both units will fire Closing Fire as your unit contacts. Then, should it have suffered any casualties, your unit takes a break test. Now, this doesn’t happen often with Infantry vs infantry, but where artillery is concerned, it is brutal. Once you’ve survived tha…[Read more]

Warlord’s German historian was not asked about IR 950, the Azad Hind. So I doubt that it will be included in the next Normandie book.
The unit was organised from may 44 on like a German Standard infantry unit. Serving mostly as occupation force and retreating post Invasion it had few Engagements. It was never trusted , there had been…[Read more]

It is the largest part of the shilhouette in relation to the ship its self…

To be fair we normally do a charge order and then a supporting move order for the other units.

Well, if you will be able to convert that Warhammer shield into a convincing German one you would be 100% able to scratch a Panzerschreck without any ready made parts.
But that’s just my own scratchbuilding loving me.
Funny how a thread can change. Now we are at the prices. And yes, some Warlord prices make me :-o. But compared to the on…[Read more]
