Shapeways fine detail resin prints wall thickesses of 0.8mm. The other advantage of Shapeways is that you can open a shop on their site and sell you designs.
This is why I have not posted any photos of my prints as most are on my shop, although only 1 item is of relevance to any Warlord Games products.
Rather than investing in a printer, try http://www.Shapeways.com.
They have done several models and parts for conversions from my designs.
For transport I have used self-adhesive steel paper on the base of my models and magnetic basing in the boxes I use for transport.
Sorry for the double upload of photos – No idea how this happens and can’t see how to delete the duplicates.
Thanks for the replies.
I cannot understand the thinking behind the rule that ships must move the full distance for each speed band as this makes it impossible to have ships moving in formation if they have different speeds, which is something that was done in the real world.
As the result is “fuel hit” not engine damaged, the vulnerability of the engine to damage is not relevent.
As fuel oil is less flammable than petrol, in my opinion, they should be treated as diesel engined ships.
On magetizing turrets try a 2-3mm magnet in the locating pin hole and steel paper on the bottom of the weapon(after cutting the locating pin off). I used this method on a 1/16th scale tank aerial base.
