I used Krylon covermax metallic aluminum. It was a pain to work with, the acrylic paint kept beading up and I had to put several thin coats on. I used Vallejo and MiG metallics on on these, and I’ll be going back to them.

Well, I took the plunge and picked up a resin printer. Some Lightnings.

Got some props done for Korea.

Got to work on the Korean War jets. Next project is to add some props, F-51’s and some LA-9’s.

Are those 1/200 scale CR.32’s? If so, where did you find them? I was hoping to get some.

Armaments In Miniature has a line of 1/200 scale aircraft, including bombers. Also, the Wings of War/Glory WWII line of aircraft are 1/200 scale.

Thnx guys. The jaws were from some left over Miscellaneous Miniatures Flying Tigers decals. Just had to trim a bit off the front of them to get them to fit.

And some La-5’s

Finally had some time to break out the brushes, some Yak-1B’s

Finished up some desert aircraft. Now onto some Russian front squadrons.

Thnx Bob, I used the Miscellaneous Miniatures SCW ones, and a set of invasion stripes (get the sets with individual stripes). Bit of trimming involved as the Republican sets are for the I-15 and earlier model of the SB-2, and they only have BF109 decals for the Condor Legion, but there’s enough there to make them work.

And JU52 bombers.

Reckon, love those F9F’s, my favorite Korean War aircraft.

How’d you get the silver & blue to play together with out bleeding through and still get the crisp edges?
