Totally Unsporting and “gamey”… but about the unrealistic part… an objective is not secured if you know there are enemies on the other side of a wall (and an enemy tank in your nose) even if you can´t see them…
An answer from warlord support regarding this:
The Armoured Platoon Commander rule states that there must be a commander for the platoon, much like an infantry platoon. What is meant though is that when you are choosing your vehicles for the platoon, if you have picked a vehicle with the Command Vehicle rule in it’s profile (whether as a default or an upgrade within the unit) in your pick of vehicles, then it must be that vehicle. However if you have picked a selection of vehicles that do not have the Command Vehicle rule within their profile option, then you must pick on of those vehicles to pay the 10 point upgrade to give them Command Vehicle rule. So for the sake of clarity, if you chose a 223 Armoured Car and a Panzer IV G for the Armoured Platoon, then the 223 MUST be the Platoon Commander, while if you purchased 2 Panzer IV G’s for the Armoured Platoon, one of these Tanks must take the 10pt upgrade to make them the Platoon Commander.
(TLDR: if you dont pick one with command vehicle, then it’s any vehicle in the armored platoon)
I wanted to give my LRDG a unique look and at the same time, a quick way of identifying some trucks… so just put together a lot of bits to make a command truck and a truck “at rest” that can work as an ambulance or as whatever else i need…
