I know how you feel, no matter how many photos you look at its hard to get single out a shade, in the end i decided to go lighter and slightly brighter so they didn’t look bland on the battlefield. I decided on Army Green from the army painter range for the base, then around a month later i found a youtube tutorial published by the wargamer (https://youtu.be/6KrRSG35l7U) who shows a very similar colour selection.
The warlord website shows a great camo tutorial for helmets and uniform items too (http://www.warlordgames.com/painting-usmc-camo-tutorial/).
