I’m assembling some German Early War Infantry (Blitzkrieg) and I have a minor gripe.
Personal equipment. Generally this is not moulded onto the figure but provided as separate parts to glue. I don’t have a problem with that but what is presented is a real hotch-potch.
So this soldier has a canteen, a gas mask container and a bread-bag, but this one doesn’t get the gas mask container and this one doesn’t get a canteen etc.
There is a reason why the outfit that soldiers wear is called a uniform.
I know it’s minor but it does irritate me a little.
And a bonus gripe. Russian infantry were mostly equipped with Mosin Nagant rifles – so why aren’t there enough to go around in the Russian Infantry boxes.
Cheers,
Nigel
