An LMG Tean costs?

In “Campaign Battle of France” a German LMG team costs 20 points (Inexperienced), 35 points (Regular) and 50 points (Veteran).

In “Campaign The Western Desert” a German LMG team costs 50 points (Regular) and 65 points (Veteran).

The entry in both books is identical – so why the difference in costs?

Because Warlord uses different authors for the supplements and doesn’t use a continuity editor to prevent such glitches/enforce consistency.

I think the Battle of France book is the one to follow. The point cost for the Western Desert book entry is essentially the same as the German Army book MMG team entry without the Inexperienced option, but with an additional AA mount option for +5 points.

Thanks for your replies, gents.  On reflection, I think the lower costs are justified, becuase of the lower rate of fire an LMG has.

The main advantage an LMG Team has over an MMG Team is that the LMG team is not Fixed.

By the way, I was really asking becuase of my five Soviet LMG teams I use in my two Machinegun Artillery Platoons.
