Artillery Barrage question

Hi All
When 1 comes up on the chart and the result of 3 D6 would bring the drop point off the game table, what happens?
A) The barrage is NOT resolved.
B) The drop point moves to the maximum edge of the table and the barrage is solved.

I think you’ve managed to stump us on this question! There is nothing I could find in the rulebook or FAQ on this 🙁

However with the cost of an Art. Obs I would go with option B… I mean you are paying ~90 points for that one attack

I think option B is the most correct, because the chart says:
“…. and then immediately resolve an artillery barrage as described for result 4−6 below.”
For me this means that barrage MUST still be resolved!

I’d be happy for it go off the table. A roll of 1 means something has gone wrong, so let it go wrong.

Also it might stop it landing on my own guys 🙂
