I could swear at some point I saw that during an assault both sides removed all pin markers but can’t seem to find that in the rule book. Did I imagine that or could someone point me to where that is?
July 4, 2020 at 3:28 pm #179706Karl Oliver-KyriacouParticipantThey don’t remove pins, but everyone fights as if they have no pins. There is no ‘to hit’, only to wound rolls made.
If you’re being charged and wanting to shoot the oncoming enemy, pins still apply and i think range is calculated from the distance the model declared the charge. Hope this helped.

Second edition you don’t – the assaulter just loses a single pin for passing the orders test to make the assault, otherwise pins are now irrelevant to close quarters.
