Bolt action League

So I’m going to be running a small Bolt action League. and was hoping for some advice on my list. The bigger lists i’ve got down pat but the 500pts is keeping me stuck, Oh the limits are nothing over a 6+ (Soft Skin) Vehicle and only 1 Generic platoon.I’m not sure if lots of small sections is better than 2 big ones or not?

I like it. I suggest to get rid of the smgs and take the mates out of the officer and observer an add them to the squads. If I did my math right you should be able to add 1 man to each squad.
