Anybody else notice that the comments have been removed from older articles on the Warlord Games website?  And that new articles don’t allow comments at all?  I wonder why this is….

I can think of multiple reasons…

One is actually the same reason as most companies have removed their forums – GDPR and other privacy laws – you want the articles to be open to every one and easily read which means you either have to allow anonymous posting (BAD IDEA!) or you have to put vairious measures in place.

Another is you want an up beat tone to the sales pitch, which is what the articles are, meaning you have to spend time monitoring all the comments … its time consuming at best… so you turn commenting off, which will with most website systems remove (hide) exisiting comments as well
