Hello,
I am Gordon Allen, and I’m from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. Great to be here!
I love playing Bolt Action with my friends, and also meeting new players. I’ve been steadily painting a U.S. “Operation Torch” themed army for the past 2 1/2 years and am very nearly complete.
I’m fairly active on the Facebook Bolt Action page, but it’s nice to get started on this forum as well.
Cheers!
Gordon
August 27, 2018 at 9:59 pm #144616Robert DraperParticipantHello, I’m Bob from Derbyshire currently enjoying Test of Honour and on the brink of diving into Blood Red Skies. I have played Bolt Action, Antares, Black Powder and Pike & Shotte in the past but these days my gaming has to fit on a 4’x6′ table maximum. Glad to see the forum back!
August 28, 2018 at 12:33 pm #144690Martin McGowanParticipantHi Everyone,
Martin from Port Glasgow on the West Coast of Scotland.
I play Bolt Action, however, I have dabbled in Black Powder.
I play late war Germans, and have recently got some Soviet too.
September 19, 2018 at 12:26 pm #147014NatParticipantHi all,
Nat here, a gamer of too many systems for my wallet and time (as the wife reminds me all the time!) Game in the Chelmsford Bunker where we have a large mix of systems, but only BRS from Warlords stable that sees table time at the club.
Between us at the club we have (when I receive my recent order of Zeros & Kates) all the released BRS nations to date.

October 9, 2018 at 5:26 pm #148304Javier MoncholíParticipantHi, my name is Javier and I live in Seville, Spain. I play many rulesets in 15 and 28mm. Regarding Warlord Games I play Bolt action with Fallschirmjagers and I am starting with Pike and Shot along with my fellow club members to recreate the Thirty Years War, which is my favourite period for wargaming, commanding any Catholic faction.
October 10, 2018 at 8:19 am #148331PERROTParticipantHello
Herve here from France.
I play lot of games: Blitzkrieg, Art de la guerre ( 15 mm french rules) GHQ3 and Seekrieg and of course Bolt action and Blood red skies.
I like par ticularly the last new one. Its easy and fun to play.
Too bad that France is not represented but I will build a small squadron of French aircraft 1939-1940.October 14, 2018 at 4:18 pm #148547Jon HParticipantHello all, I am Jon and I currently live in St. John’s Newfoundland. I am binging on painting Napoleonics but also have quite a bit of Bolt Action stuff.
October 17, 2018 at 11:27 am #148679Alan HamiltonParticipantHi, I am Alan and I’m a wargamer from Livingston, Scotland.
I have been playing wargames since the 1960s with OO/HO Airfix figures. Since them most of my wargaming has been WW2 (20mm) and a whole host of periods and armies are in boxes, shelves and trays in my wargames room. Everything from Airfix and similar Ancients, ACW, AWI, WW1, WW2, Interwar and Warlord Africa. In 25/28mm I have Darkest Africa, Pulp, Greek mythology, Dark age fantasy, zombies and much more.Just now I am dabbling in Bolt Action because our son bought the rules and some late war British and Germans that I am getting to make and paint for him as he is in the army and “does not have the time”. We played a few games of Bolt Action with my 20mm figures and also played some with his nephews (my daughter’s two boys). I expect to play a lot of Bolt Action games and I’m looking forward to building and converting the figures.
I see that some of my Pulp figures will be usable in Bolt Action – civilians and a few military types.
We also played quite a few games of Project Z but did not really like the rules much so changed to another set. The figures are still the mainstay of the zombie hordes and the survivor gangs.
October 28, 2018 at 12:58 am #149223BruceParticipantHello. Bruce from British Columbia. I have been playing a wide variety of wargames and boardgames for several years.
I recently picked up a starter set for Blood Red Skies.November 9, 2018 at 10:42 am #149822MikeParticipantHello, Mike from Nanuet, NY (about 45 minutes North of NYC) I run a Gaming Club at Toywiz since 2008. Bolt Action and Blood Red Skies are the big Warlord Games that are played there. There is some Test of Honour, Hail Caesar and I just bought K47. For Bolt Action I own US, Brits, Germans, Finns and Italians. Blood Red Skies I own the 109s, P51s, Yaks, Zeros, Spitfires and F4Fs.

November 20, 2018 at 9:24 pm #150573FindoParticipant‘Lo all, I am Findo and live in California. I am an amateur sculptor, illustrator, and digital mendicant. I used to play Judge Dredd: Blood on the Streets a couple of years ago. Sadly that game was discontinued, but with Warlord now owning the rights to produce for all of 2000AD, perhaps it will be revived. In any case, while I wait for my Strontium Dog starter set to arrive I can’t help but mull over the possible futures. If that game does well could we see things like Slaine Chronicles, The Volgan War and other such stand outs from the pages of the galaxies most thrilling printout? I hope so.
