I’m in the process of building up some forces for the Thirty Year’s War and so I would like to show some of the shot with Musket Rests. The plastic infantry sprue helpfully includes a couple of rests. I have been experimenting with ways of having the marching figures carry the rest.
So far I have come up with this. I have used a drummer’s right arm (from the command sprue), and snipped / filed off the drumstick.
Very interested to know if anyone has any other ideas to add the rests to the figures?

I found the metal musketeers add variety to a unit. I’m not much good at converting miniatures.
