Epic Hail Caesar – Roman Cavalry

Hi All,

I just received my Roman Legion box and I’ve been studying up on how to represent an army. A Roman sprue can make a hastai base, a principes base, a triarii base and a Velites base. Also one commander and two light cavalry figures and two medium cavalry figures. Now two sprues will much a unit each of the four infantry types but WL’s represent cavalry in bases of five, I’m thinking to represent my cavalry unit in 4 figures per base or 8 figures per unit which mean for four sprues you would get two units of each infantry type and a unit of light cavalry and a unit of medium cavalry. What do you think?

How many bases for them do you get?

looking at the pictures of the army box they have 3 bases of Roman cavalry (15 models… 8 sprues is 16) but 4 bases of the allied /mercenary cavalry
& in the hannibal box looks like you get 4 bases of each of the cavalry (20 models.. but 12 sprues so 24 models)
