Found an Errata on the Errata?

Page two of the Errata appears to have an error.
The box with the pic of the captain advises that all vessels of medium size and below are invulnerable to torpedo Attack. However, the revised Torpedo To Hit table shows a -1 modifier for medium sized targets (tiny, small and barges have been removed).
Which is correct?

We are enjoying this game, so I don’t really like criticising it, but the editing leaves a lot to be desired.

Hi Big Al, it’s a good question and while it’s not an error the errata doesn’t clearly explain things in full. Medium size vessels are invulnerable to torpedo attack in the standard game, as the text states. However, we wanted to present an appropriate modifier for torpedoing Medium sized vessels should players decide they wanted that in their games.

So as standard, and at official events etc., Medium vessels cannot be targeted by torpedoes. However, if you and your opponent agree to allow Medium ships to be torpedoed, then -1 is the modifier that we’d recommend is appropriate.
