German weapon costs

A question came up on the cost of squad lmg’s for the Germans. All other weapons specify a cost as being for each. Ie, panzerfausts are 5 points each, smg’s for 3 points each. And yet in Armies of Germany the SS squads get up to two lmg’s for 20 points, but not specifying ‘each’. Early war fallschirmjager squads the NCO and up to two men may have smg’s for 3 points, but again, not specifying ‘each’. Now, for 5 points if I could have 4 panzerfausts why would I settle for 1? Admitted it could be a clumsy way of up-gunning troops but I believe that the intent is for each weapon to pay the listed cost despite the occasional lack of the word ‘each’. Is that indeed so?
