The stats for Greek Hoplite mercenaries seem a bit, well, “lite”. Any ideas on this?

Just Hoplon and HelmetJuly 29, 2019 at 9:35 am #165808GordonParticipantYes, that’s fine.
But in the book they have the linothorax but armour +0.
And compare it to the stats for similarly equipped Athenian hoplites. For seven fewer denarii, but no linothorax, you get +2 melee, 2 melee dice and +2 bravery.
All right, mercenaries don’t come cheap, but Thracian Warriors, for eight denarii compared to nineteen, look a much more appealing purchase.
Sorry, but something does not seem right.July 30, 2019 at 10:34 am #165870MrZakalweParticipantJust looks like a typo to me like the Roman Auxilia cavalry, and companion cavalry.
Never seen a wargame without a few.
