Hi there! I’m just trying to understand how to act in the following case: two regiments are clashing in hand-to-hand combat, one ‘ A’ with three stands and one ‘B’ with five, but they are colliding only partially, that is only the last two right stands of  ‘A’ are in contact with the last two of ‘B’. How to manage this? Thanks, Paolo

So a few key points of BP v2 CORE rules (so not the epic versions which may be different)
    1) Only a single unit (with a some exceptions for small unit / artillery) can fight on a facing
    2) Units either fight or dont, the number of die they use is modified by formation, commanders, die split between multiple enemies etc not by ratio in contact.  It doesnt matter if only half a unit is in contact one enemy – you still use all your die not half.

Due to this once charges have all been made you may want to ‘shuffle’ both units across so they are completely squared off against each other.
