What is meant regarding HE Pins D2 D3 or D6?

July 22, 2018 at 12:20 pm #141678Jvr1979Participantso if it says D3 then you roll 3 six sided dice and add the total and that is how many pins that unit recieves?
July 22, 2018 at 1:39 pm #141680Stuart HarrisonParticipantNo. D stands for dice, the number represents the number of sides on the dice for that roll. If there is a number before the D, that is the number of dice you roll.
ie:
D2 means a 2 sided dice (flip a coin or roll a six sided dice, 1,2 or 3 = 1, 4,5 or 6 = 2)
D3 means a 3 sided dice (roll a 6 sided dice, 1 or 2 =1, 3 or 4 = 2, 5 or 6 =3)
D6 means a six sided dice.
2D6 means two six sided dice, and so on.
