    I am a dedicated Bolt Action 2d edition player, just getting started with Konflct ’47. Konflict game mechanics is based upon Bolt Action 1st edition from what I can tell. Has anyone decided to use the BA rules and just add the ’47 units special abilities? If so does it work?

    It does, but IMO you lose something without the Reactions.

    Yeah since I wrote that comment, I came up with house rules where I melded the two game.   One of the things I did was to get rid of the reactions except for down, just like Bolt Action.  We are actually running a league with the new rule set starting on October.
