Like many of you, I’ve spent hours staring at my Black Powder “Lucky Jack” model trying to figure out how to best integrate him into a game of Black Seas. When I saw someone over on Dakka Dakka (can’t find the post anymore more though) create a victory points counter for their GW Tau 40k army using the base from an Ultra Pro Life Point Counter, I knew I found my answer.
I initially debated on painting the model in full color, but given it would be handled a lot, I went with a bronze base coat/wash so that it would just look better with wear. I liked how it came out so much I bought a second “Lucky Jack” as soon as they popped up on the medals rewards program so that I now have a set.
