How are you guys painting water? I have that lovely surfacing (or diving) U-Boot and I would like to paint a nice Atlantic ocean.
The white froth looks easy enough but how do you guys get a nice green-blue for the deeper water?

I paint the base with that mix. Then I add a bit of white and drybrush it. Then a bit more White. At last pure White for the wave peaks and around the hull.
A glossy finsh is a question of taste.
More blue in mix for Pacific and more Green for North Sea.
