infantry arc of fire query

Sorry to be Mr loadsa questions. I did try to search the forum for an answer. But do infantry and their weapons other than fixed weapons have an arc of fire? I ask because in my game last night a vehicle target appeared to the rear of a deployed AT rifle. When the AT rifle is activated can it just turn round with a fire action and shoot without penalty or if on ambush can it also do so? Or does the AT rifle have to be given an advance order to turn round and shoot at a minus 1 penalty?

Default is a 360 degree arc.  Fixed limits the arc for some infantry and most artillery weapons.  Vehicles weapon arcs are specified on the weapons line of their entries.
