Now the Kates are available I discussed with Andy options to allow players to use them in the published Escort Duty scenario.
Interestingly Andy said the scenario was written with other types in mind but had to be trimmed in editing to get within the required page count for the starter set.
Basically the number of bombers the escort player gets should be dictated by the number of engines – with six “engines” per player. So you can play with 6 Kates, or 3 Ju88s, or 2 B17s (ok a bit of a fudge but you get the drift.
